Connell, Susan In hospital, in Perth on Sunday, October 19th, 2008 Susan Barbara (Ritchie) Connell at the age of 68. Susan died very peacefully and with great dignity, leaving behind the love of her life Jimbear (James Gordon Connell). Loved mother of Stephanie Smith (Ralph Zabel) and Andrea Richardson (Adin) both of Chelsea, Quebec. Cherished grandmother of Ben Zabel, and dear sister of Marlie Tilker (Jim) and Sandy Ritchie. Susan was predeceased by her mother Grace (Harbottle) and her father Wells Ritchie. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, all her extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Friday, October 24th, 2008 from 6 to 9 P.M. The family wishes to invite all her friends and family to join them to celebrate her life at a Memorial Service to be held in St. Paul's United Church, 25 Gore St. W. Perth on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception in the church hall. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, 33 Drummond St. W, Perth, St. Paul's United Church or the Lanark Grannies (Stephen Lewis Foundation) would be appreciated. A special thank you from the family is extended to her family and close friends Diane, Barb, Sue, Karen, Rhonda, Annie and Judy who shared her last days with her with joy and laughter.
