I only met Hilary a few times as a supply teacher at Glen Tay PS. She left a lasting impression on me . Even though she was dealing with the adverse side effects of her treatments she delivered herself as confident and strong. Hilary shared her medical journey openly. She left a lasting impression on many,, staff and students. She made the "C" word something safe to discuss.
I am at a loss for words, I wish I could find something to offer her family to aid in their comfort. Alas, I can find none..

Our prayers yesterday by our Minister at our Church Service yesterday in Kirkcaldy, Scotland were for the life of Hilary and for Alan, Donna, Jennifer and Graham. Our thoughts and prayers on this day are for God's strength as you say goodbye to Hilary as she takes her place in his care.
