My heart goes out to Barb, Laura and family. "Those to whom we say farewell, are welcomed by others ". No doubt he is being welcomed by many, possibly someone has a golf club or badminton racket on the ready for a spunky game...and there is joy in that-knowing he is peaceful and taken care of. Big hugs to you both..Sue

I was Archie's boss for a couple of years when I was made Payroll Manager at Ford (my first management position with the company). They were some of my best years at the company thanks to the friendship and support from Archie and his crew in Payroll. He taught me many valuable lessons and I missed him when he retired from the company. I remember that he made the trip down from Kingston for my retirement party back in 2006 and I'm sorry that I was unable to maintain our friendship once I retired. It was an honour and privilege to work with Archie and to have known him and he will be sorely missed.

Deeply sorry to hear of Arch,s passing. Spent many a fun time with Archie on the golf course and over the snooker table, in addition to working with him at Ford Motor Company. He was always smiling, happy and quick with a one-liner. Archie was truly a first class Gentleman. God bless and we will see you once again when we attain that wonderful place where he now resides in happiness and eternal joy.
Much love,
Ken and Lois

OBAN

Archie was loved and respected by everyone who knew him at Ford of Canada in Oakville. He always had a smile and was easy to talk with. I knew he was originally from Oban, Scotland and when my husband and I went for a two week vacation to Scotland in 1991, one of the places on my list was Oban --- I wanted to tell Archie that I had been there! It was a beautiful holiday and was made even more special because I knew someone who had come from there.

My heartfelt sympathy is extended to his family.
