Wood, G. Earl Peacefully in the Great War Memorial Hospital, Perth on Wednesday, November 26th, 2008 at the age of 77. Earl was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie (Norwood) in 2005 and his youngest son Bradley in 2007. Dear father of Bobby (Cindy), Cathy (Ken) Peters, Helen (Dave) Fowler, Rosie (Tim) Tarle and Brian. Cherished grandfather of Roxane, Gordy, Russell, Brandi, Jeffrey, Kurtis, Jodi-Lynn, Robin, Scott and Shannon and ten great-grandchildren. Dear eldest brother of Elaine Fournier, Lawrence (Miriam), Lloyd (Louise), Eldon, Iona (Robert) Farrell, Roy and Carl (Sylvia) Wood. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Lulu Wood and brothers Arden, Lemuel and sister Evelyn Wood. Earl will be sadle missed by numerous nieces and nephews and the Norwood family and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Friday November 28th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Perth Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, St. Johns Parish Cemtery. In remembrance, contributions to GWM Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
