Mitchell, Shirley I. Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Friday, November 28th, 2008 Shirley Ida (McNicol) Mitchell at the age of 74. Loved wife for 55 years of J. Arnold Mitchell of Lanark. Dear mother of Wayne (Heather) McNicol, Robert (Elizabeth) Mitchell, Donald, Ellen (Gerry) Cole and Diane (Doug) Ladouceur. Cherished grandmother to her 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Nicol (Jean) McNicol. Shirley will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, all her family and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Sunday, November 30th, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Middleville.
