Very, very saddened with hearing the news of Cheryl's passing. Lynn and I were very happy to see yourself Tom and also Cheryl at the 25th anniversary celebration in Kingston for John and Pat Fuller almost 2 years ago. Just recently heard from John Fuller of how ill Cheryl has been. We had no idea. I have such fond memories of my family (Hull) enjoying such great times with the Volk family members and also, Cheryl was a bridesmaid at our wedding in 1971. Great, great memories. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy Tom.

Dear Tom and family,
We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Cheryl's death! My thoughts drift back to Teachers' College in Ottawa where I met Cheryl........and how fast our future husbands became good friends. The years we enjoyed when Tim and Greg were toddlers, so many good times! Although many job transfers widened the ability to stay close and years intervened we are grateful to have had your friendship. It is not fair that Cheryl was deprived of more retirement years....she loved her family unconditionally and her grandsons were the apples of her eye! Mere words seem inadequate at this time but please know how sad we are for you, Tom, and your entire family.
Hugs from us,
Bob and Joene.
