Rodger, Earle H. Suddenly & unexpectedly on Sunday, January 04, 2009 Earle H. Rodger (long time employee of R. T. Parks Construction) in his 82nd year. Predeceased in 2003 by his wife Joan (Murphy) Rodger; dearly loved and respected father of Anne and Darlene Rodger, Jim (Ingrid) Rodger and Norma (Richard) Bingley. Cherished grandfather of Todd (Sherry) Milotte, Josh Milotte (Jen McGrath), Vanessa (Vern) Robert, Christa Bingley, Hali (William) Crain and Kristen Rodger; great grandfather of Olivia, Owen, Quinlan, Liam, Isaac, Fletcher and Madalyn. Dear brother of Norman (Margaret), Oris (Carol) and Bill (Jolie) Rodger, Beverly (John) Hexter and the late Les Rodger, Mavis Johnson, Harry Rodger and Joyce Nixon. Earle will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Geraldine Rodger, numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors and many friends as well as a special care-giver, Leanne Schonauer. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Thursday at 1:30 P.M. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Red Cross (for Senior Support) or North Lanark Community Health Centre would be appreciated.
