Kennedy, D. Dale Suddenly and unexpectedly on January 2nd, 2009, Donald Dale Kennedy, age 49, at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Beloved husband of Linda (Watts-Buchanan) Kennedy. Loved step father of Chad (Crystal) Buchanan and Sari Buchanan of Perth. Special 'Poppa' to Karson. Beloved son of Diane Kennedy of Ottawa and Donald (Janet) Kennedy of Thomasburg, Ontario. Predeceased by his sister Donna Kennedy Berry in 2007. Special friend of Ginette Dennis of Lanark and her children Tina, Sherry and Troy and their families. Brother-in-law of Brenda Smijan of Kingston, Wendy (Brian) Fagan of Lindsay, Terry (Greg) Bowes of Otty Lake and Shelley (Irv) Cotic of Newmarket. We would like to thank Dr. Shouldice and her nurses in Perth for their quick action, and Dr. Wong and his team at the Ottawa Heart Institute for their exemplary care and valiant efforts to save Dale. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers at the Planing Mill in Perth. He was truly one of a kind.
