Wayne, Shenda and family, Just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during your time of sorrow. Shirley was a wonderful gal and I will miss her dearly. Her work in starting the 'Bereavement Group' here in town is so much appreciated and will be remembered for years to come. Shirley gave it her best. Wayne, Shenda, Steve and family. I have wonderful childhood memories of ball tournaments, sleep-overs, road trips and family time with you. Your house was like my home away from home and you and Shirley were like an extra mom and dad. The fun that was provided to a group of girls on a ball team went beyond playing the game. We learned good sportsmanship and team work with you and Shirley as our coaches. I always compare my experiences to those of my own children now. I hope that they will have coaches that are as caring and fun as you and Shirley were to us. My thoughts are with you. Sheri Madden

Dear Wayne, Shenda and Steve,
I'm sorry that I am not able to pay my respects in person, the weather is not cooperating.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
My fondest memories are of Shirley, Wayne, traveling all over, playing ball, enjoying too much sun and Shirley's delicious veggies and dip she would bring to each tournament. Shirley always did such a great job taking care of all the girls! One thing that stands out in my mind is Shirley and Wayne's dedication not only to their daughters but to all the girls on our ball team. I am forever grateful to both of them for the time they dedicated to us and the wonderful memories it created.
love
Mary Hogan
