I'm so sorry for your loss. The bible calls death an enemy of ours. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says-The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. God also promise at Revelation 21:4-Pain, sickness, and death will be no more. The hope is held out to you that you can soon see Lois again right here on earth under perfect conditions for Acts 24:15 says-There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. All that Almighty God has said is as good as done because Titus 1:2 says-God cannot lie. I hope this bring some consolation to your mind and heart.

Lois was a good friend and neighbour. We miss her smile, sense of humour and we miss going for wings and beer with both Lois and Don. I know Lois is watching over her family and she would be grateful for this beautiful memorial service. We are very sorry for your loss and please accept our deepest condolences.

I already miss my Aunt Lois & Uncle Don, they both had infectious laughs & made a good team together ! I always remember Christmases at the Kimberley homestead on Johnston Street & waiting for the 'Buchanan mobile' to show up with the trunk full of "gifts" ! The trunk would be so full their clothes had to go in the back seat & Don's cars back then were BIG (just like my Dad's, (aka. 'Land Yachts' I used to call them).. That's when the Christmas 'party' really got started in the kitchen around the big table & the laughter carried throughout the house & well in to the late evening/early morning ! Lots of good old memories ! That's how I will always remember Autn Lois & Uncle Don ~ laughing !!!

To our dearest daughter in law Heather and Rob, the grandkids, and to all of Heather's extended family...though we are not there, our thoughts are with the family ...and we, like all of you have fond memories, and nothing but love and respect for such a remarkable, loving woman that Lois was. We hit it off the moment we met, ...she certainly had a deep and committed love for her children and family. May this memorial service be a 'coming home' for not only Lois and Don, but for all of you.
