I have appreciated Pat's wonderful farm as my work setting for 10 years. Pat made it possible for us to provide therapeutic riding lessons to the people of Lanark County . HER BEAUTIFUL SETTING WITH LOTS OF PEACE, QUIETNESS, FLOWERS AT ALL TIMES HAS MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO COME OUT AND ENJOY SOME GREAT TIMES ON OR AROUND THE THERAPY HORSES. SIBLINGS,parents, friends and grand parents came to watch the riding and to pet the cats or Pat's wild life that she was looking after at the time. She often came over for a chat with the parents and let the kids pet her critters or look at her critters.
Our five therapy horses Kennie, Mary's Prince, Moe , Amber and Cricket enjoyed the big fields with all the grass and the wonderful riding area in the front along with her plenty of apple treats in the fall every year. Pat has been generous and kind in letting us come to make my dream of the Therapeutic Riding come true as much as possible and she provided a great safe place to be at eight month out of the year. Our condolence goes to her family especially her three daughters Wendy, Crystal and Tracy and all her grand children and husbands which we met at various times throughout the years.Pat will be missed by many and I will always keep a memory of her in my heart. Rest in Peace Pat..We will always appreciate all you have done for us..the Lanark County Therapeutic Riding Program

Pat had a dream, she wanted to build an arena and run a boarding facility. She came to us to see our coverall because she decided that's what she wanted. I admired her drive and dedication, and although many things didn't come easy for her dream, she continued to strive to make it a reality.
Pat was a truly hard working woman who always remained positive. She will be missed in this community by so very many people. Rest in Peace Pat.

To Pats family,
We are sorry to hear of your loss. Also we would like to thank you for lending her to us as our kids bus driver way back in merrickville. We were the first pick up so she would come a little earlier, come in for coffee and holler at the boys say I'm leaving in 10 min., have your butt down here. They loved her and so did we. Our boys which of course are know men still talk about THEIR bus driver Pat and what a great person she is, thanks!!!!

Our condolences to the Nolan family on the sudden passing of Pat. I took my grand kids to her farm to play with her horses. She loved all creatures large and small. I remember she nursed an orphaned skunk one year, and another time sharing her raccoon with us. She was such a kind and considerate lady. It was a privilege to have known her.

To cousin Marilyn and family,
I was so saddened to learn today of Pat's recent passing. What a terrible shock to you all. As one of the Hill cousin's, I recall visiting your home often in my youth. Although we lost contact over the years, I vividly remember often visiting my lovely Aunt Eunice and Uncle Ernie, and all of their children with my Mom and Dad and my sister's and brother. We were always greeted with love, huge smiles and hugs. Yours was a house full of laughter and love. I remembering envying Pat's lovely long red hair which she usually wore in a long ponytail.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to you Marilyn and your Mom and siblings and especially to Pat's children. After reading all of the condolences here, I see that Pat grew up to be a wonderful, kind and compassionate woman who was well respected in her community. Her love of horses obviously kept her very busy over the years.
God Speed Pat and I'll meet you on the other side!
With love, cousin Gloria Bouchard (nee Thompson)... Art and Dorothy's eldest daughter.

Condolences to you all, Pat will truly be missed.

Dear Crystal, Tracy and Wendy:
So sad to hear about the tragic accident that your mother had. She worked so hard her whole life, and now she had a wonderful farm and this had to happen. She was so patient and understanding when the green horses wouldn't perform the way we wanted them to. Many fond memories of Stetson and Montana being here at my farm.
I hope that you can keep the farm going. I am sure that you are overcome with sadness and grief, but your mom would want you to be strong at this time.
If there is anything that I can do to help, please let me know.

I quite often had lunch with her and got to know her well. Pat was a hard working beautiful lady that cared for people and animals. I am sorry I did not know till the service was past or I would have been there.
