Dear Nancy and family, It is with sincere regret that, due to illness, I am unable to attend and pay tribute in person to Aunt Evelyn. She was such a special lady and we will always remember her with fondness. I have many good memories from my childhood days of visiting her in Poland, one in particular was being greeted to the tune "If I'd known you were coming, I'd have baked a cake". She and our Dad had a special bond and, although cousins, I will remember her telling me upon his death that he had always been her brother. He felt the same about her and always looked forward to and enjoyed hearing one of her jokes - her wonderful sense of humour gave us all many laughs throughout the years. Sadly her last few years did not provide the quality of life she so deserved, however, she is surely now in a better place and at peace. Please accept condolences from all of us. Sincerely, Marilyn and Howard Carr and family.
