My deepest sympathy to all the family. Willard was like a special Dad to me. He taught me to dance, carve roast beef and be a good person. We loved coming home to the farm when our kids were little. We would tell stories of how Willard let me help shear sheep, round up stray cattle and help with the hay. In these last years we talked on the phone once a week and Hank and I visited him every summer when we came home to the "valley".
He was a devoted husband, father, church member and Kiwanian.
My life is all the richer for knowing and loving him. Be at peace.

My condolences to Willard's family. I met Willard through Kiwanis. He followed me as President and I will always remember him inviting me out to the farm where Vivian and Willard had 'tea' with me. He wanted to know what I could share with him so that he could be a better President of the club. As I look back, what a humble man who knew so much more that me but was always willing to learn. Willard you join the many that have gone on before. Thank you for what you taught me.

To Ron, Ralph and Families:
Cousin Williard has been in my life for all of my life! He was a fun cousin when I was a child and he and Vivian were always wonderful hosts at their home. I saw him Dec. 23rd when he was cheerful and still full of life. He made a real contribution to the lives of many people and will be missed.
