Peacefully at Lanark Lodge on Sunday January 29, 2017. Loving husband of Dorothy (Brown/Cooke), dear father of Skip (Sherry) of Atlin, British Columbia and Debbie of Natick, Massachusetts. Step Father of Roger (Glenda and granddaughter Sarah) of Perth and predeceased by step son William (Dana). Predeceased by his mother and his father. Ed was born in Puerto Rico and served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Air Corp during WWII before coming to Canada to work for New Holland. He became a Canadian Tire store owner in Perth and then he opened the fourth store in the chain’s expansion into Western Canada with a new store in Winnipeg. Ed and Dorothy retired back to Eastern Ontario after a successful business career. In respect to Ed’s wishes no service will be held.
