Unexpectedly in hospital in Perth on Monday, March 30th, 2009 in the presence of his family, Johnnie Boles (former owner of Boles Grocery, Chipmunk Chippery and J. Boles Carpentry and long time member of the Orangeville and Perth Fire Departments) in his 76th year. Beloved husband for 51 years of Norma (Hughes) Boles. Loved and respected father of Gloria (Brian) Fielding, Darlene Preville, Perry Boles and his twin brother Paul (Lori) Boles; cherished grandfather of Trisha, Michelle, Christopher, Erica, Heidi and Johnny. John was predeceased by his parents John and Sylvia Boles, his sisters Myrtle Cameron, Pearl Dickson, Madeline Tryon, Vera Westervelt, Una Duncan, Eva Denby, Alice Froud, Marion McKinnon and Jean Swinton and twin brother James Boles. He will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Helen (Bob) Tryon and Janice (late Doug) Chaplin and brothers-in-law Bob (Mary) and Reg (Connie) Hughes, his many nieces, nephews, all his family and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, April 1st, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Paul's United Church, Perth on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Diabetes Society or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
