Please accept my sincere sympathies Judy. I have good memories of sharing the gourmet table with you and Ross for several years, with good food, great conversation and all importantly, laughter! Your happy memories will carry you through this difficult time and if I can be of any help during this time, please don't hesitate to call me.

Dear Judy, Elizabeth and Andrew, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and father.
More than 20 years ago Steve, our young children and I spent the summer at the lake and had my parents visiting from Germany. Ross and Judy stopped by the cabin and met my parents and children. I remember Ross as a very kind person; he took my parents for a boat ride. And he let my then 6 year old son Karim steer his boat!

Dearest Judy, our old friend Stanley told me that Ross is gone. The two of you were so tight, you did everything together. Remarkable, really. My heart goes out to you in your wrenching loss, and in the painful time ahead. May the strength and comfort you always give to others be returned to you now. Love, Gail

To Judy and the family my heartfelt condolences on the tremendous loss of Ross. While I did not know him well I have marveled at his sincere dedication and drive and his amazing knowledge that he emparted to us all at Perth Town Council over the years that I have been on council. I know we will miss his intellect and opinions going forward. May he rest in peace.

To Judy and family. Wishing you the best in this difficult time. Ross and I worked closely together at the Economic Council when I was a young public servant. His incredible mind was a great influence on me. I always admired his dedication and commitment to speaking the truth as he honestly saw it. I like to think I learned these traits to help me to do my work today. And I also had a special time once visiting your house on the Big Rideau and going for one of those great boat rides with Ross. I am sorry I cannot be there today to hear some of the great stories about him. I know there are many. John Knubley

So sorry to hear about Ross - he was my boss for many years at WEFA and the Economic Council - I truly admired his talent and we even got along well (most of the time anyhow). He was definitely one of my favorite people to work for. I also recall what a good time Carole and I had when we stayed overnight at the Preston cottage many years ago.
My sympathies to you, Judy, and all of the family -

Dear Judy, Andrew and Elisabeth
I am very sorry to hear that Ross has died. He was a unique and unforgettable man with a strong intellect, great curiosity and his own angle on most everything. He was always very kind to me. I remember one occasion when he decided to drive my girlfriend from Rideau Ferry to Lakefield when she was stuck for any means to make the journey. I think very few people would have done that. I was always entertained by his humour, although it was sometimes hard to tell if he was being deliberately amusing and I think Ross liked it that way.
He was a remarkable man and I feel lucky to have known him.
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
All the Best
Matthew Binnie
