Hewitt, Edith Ann Edith went home to heaven to be with her dear Lord Jesus on Saturday, June 13th, 2009, Edith Ann (Ferguson) Hewitt on her 73rd birthday. Predeceased on October 18th, 2007 by her beloved husband William Harold Hewitt and on May 21st, 2008 by her daughter Adella Ruth Sarick. Edith was the dearly loved mother of Donna Jean (John) Rochon, Edith Irene (Paul) Roorda, William John (Fiona) & Wilfred Harold Hewitt, Marjorie Eunice (Keith) Densmore and the loving grandmother of Heidi, William, Lauren, Benjamin, Caleb, Ruth, William & Anita and the great grandmother of John III, Philip and Caroline Rochon and Easton Roorda. She was the cherished sister to Wilfred (Evelyn) Ferguson, Orland (Sharon) Ferguson, Marion (Arnold) Sproule, Irene (Jim) Gray, Rick (Jeanette) Ferguson. Edith was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Marjorie (Ranger) Ferguson and her brothers William, Eric & Brian Ferguson and her sister Velma (Lawson) Cameron. Dear sister-in-law to Barbara and Ina Ferguson and mother-in-law to Joe Sarick. The service was conducted privately by the family in the chapel of the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West, Perth, Thursday, June 18th, 2009 followed by a private interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
