Shields, Peter At his home at R.R. # 1 Lombardy in the presence of his loved ones, passed away on Wednesday, June 17th, 2009, at the age of 62. Peter will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Zdenka Shields, mother Sheila Shields, his daughters Jocelyn (George) Shaffer and Jacquie Welch-Upole, Zdenka's daughter Silvie Fojtik and his sisters Jocelyn Reekie and Caroline Fantini and their families; he was predeceased by his father Peter Shields. The service will be held privately for the family and close friends. Peter's family wish to extend a special thank you to all his care givers at the Ottawa Hospital (General Site), the Saint-Vincent Hospital, the Perth Hospital and Bayshore Home Health Services.
