Powell, Shirley Maxine June 9, 1926 – September 14, 2017 It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my wonderful mother Shirley M. Powell at the age of 91 years. Shirley was predeceased by her beloved sweetheart James (1977) Powell. She was the last survivor of her family and is now in the arms of her beloved parents Walter (1950) and Ethel (1992) Long , her sisters and brothers-in-law Jean (2007) (Walter) Wiseman, Phyllis (2002) (Doug) Seon, Claire (1979) (Jim) Webster and Bill Palmer. Left to mourn are her children Chris, Judy, Kim (Bob), Jeff; grandchildren John and Jim, Danielle and Kristin, Stacie and Shawn; great grandchildren Justin and Grayson, and many nieces nephews, family and friends. Services were held for the family with interment York Cemetery, Toronto. I will love you and miss you forever Mom. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth.
