Holmes, Von Peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 Mildred Elizabeth Anna Von (Larmour) Holmes at the age of 90 years. Wife of the late Dr. Edwin Holmes. Dear mother of Marilyn (Bryant) Moodie, Katherine (Don) Rothwell, Deborah Holmes, Ted Holmes and Jennifer (David) Butler. Loved grandmother of Christopher and Corbett Ball, Janee, Joe, Becky and Anna Rothwell, Sonja Ridley, Oliver, Natalie and Evan Holmes and Steven, Andrew and Kristopher Butler. Von will be sadly missed by 8 great grandchildren and all her family and friends; predeceased by her sister Marion McHaffie. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 from 2 to 5 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark, Friday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment services will be held in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Winchester at 2:30 P.M.
