Humphrey; Queenie Peacefully at Hilltop Manor Merrickville on Sunday July 19, 2009 Queenie (Langridge) Humphrey in her 89th year. Beloved wife for 68 years of Leonard Humphrey. Loved mother of Tony (Julie) of Smiths Falls and Susan (Ken) Fry of Moncton N.B. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Ruttan, Amanda Sousa, and Emily Mae Fry. Great grandmother of Darcy, Shayne, Chloe, and Peyton. Predeceased by brothers Jim, Reggie and sister Stephanie White. Queenie proudly worked in munitions for the British Government during World War 2, then immigrated to Canada in 1957. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Smiths Falls from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday July 23 at 11 a.m. In remembrance, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
