To The Farrell Family,
I knew John from watching trains up through the valley. There was No place to meet and talk to railroaders like the Ottawa valley.
John was was always a special railroader to meet as he was very approachable and actually
gave us rail fans respect when it was deserved. I have John in some of my photos and I will always cherish those as he was in my books a good rail roader and a gentleman a class act, Old school and I respected his
conversations and times I had when speaking to him railside. Thanks John for the giving me the time to be able to share railway History and other conversations with you.
I will and have missed you up through Pembroke. Until we meet again my friend somewhere on the chalkriver sub.
