McDaniel, Lois E. (Popplewell) Peacefully in hospital in Perth surrounded by her loved ones on July 23rd, 2009 Lois Evelyn McDaniel in her 78th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Donald. Loving mother of Michael (Helen), Lee (David) Spence and Steven (Brenda). Cherished grandmother of Katrina (John) Boothby, Adam (Jennifer Keyes), Drew, Rebecca, Mark and Sean and great-grandmother of Maddy. Dearly remembered by brothers Kenneth (Edna) Popplewell, Leslie (Doris) Popplewell, sisters Reba (Carl) Bolton and Dorothy Publow. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by her parents Edwin 'Cecil' and Mary (Palmer) Popplewell, brother Edwin Popplewell and his wife Carol, sister Helen Guthrie and mother-in-law Helen McDaniel. Respecting Lois' wishes there will be a private family visitation and funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
