Walsh, Norma P. (nee Lappan) Entered into rest at her home in Smiths Falls, ON with her family by her side on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Norma Pauline was the daughter of the late Christine Fodey and Norman Lappan. Loving and devoted mother to Janice Walsh of Brockville, Denise Walsh (Kay) of Smiths Falls, Sherry Walsh (Allan) of Smiths Falls, and Katherine Doyle (Thomas) of Kingston. She was predeceased by her daughters Debra Rena and Maureen Sara Jane and her son Chester Leander. She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Irene Walsh. Cherished "Granny" to Lisa Prud'homme of Smiths Falls, Carl Prud'homme (Gabrielle) of Ottawa, Gerry Prud'homme of Kingston, Matthew Walsh (Shannon) of Jasper, Andrew Walsh (Amber) of Brockville and Sara and Hannah Doyle of Kingston. Loving great-grandmother to Rhenata Jane Walsh and Aurora Lee Walsh. Beloved sister to Kay Lackie (Bob), James Lappan (Ann), and John Lappan all of Lansdowne, and Josephine Ferguson of Kingston. Predeceased by her brothers Thomas Lappan and George Lappan and sister Doreen Hurst. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the celebration of Norma Pauline's life in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. Private interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Lansdowne, ON. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
