So very sorry to hear about Jim's passing. You could never have met a more gentle man than Jim Brown. Some of my best memories of childhood were listening to Jim play a tune or jam along with others as they played. Jim was a good friend to my Dad and thinking back I am grateful to guys like Jim and Neil as Dad always looked happy when talking to Jim and Neil. I am sorry we could not be there as we would if we could. School starts Monday and kids are arriving from all over the world as we speak. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we grieve the passing of another great man in our prescious family.

Peggy and Family, Please accept our condolences, we are very saddened to hear of Jim's passing but take comfort that he is no longer suffering. It was just Christmas when we lost Dad so we know this is a difficult time for all of you. The McCann's found remembering all the good memories helped us through it all. Dearest Aunt Theresa and Family, My thoughts are with you and know that my sincere condolences are sent over the distance. Dad's death at the end was a blessing as the suffering and watching the suffering was too intense. I still cry to think of his last hours and the pain that he endured with such grace. I know that Jim, too, would have faced the end of his days with thoughts only for his family - he would want you to share your grief but to think on the very good times that the Brown family have had. I am sorry for the delay in sending my sympathy as Tony and I have been north on our sailboat and out of range of cell phones and internet.
