Jane and Al, We were saddened to hear of the passing of your father. I will always remember his as a tender soul and of his visits to my Dad when he was ill. I have three paintings that your Mum did and often think of your family because of this. Harold, Charlie Beddoe and my Dad were instrumental in bringing the new Blackburn Hamlet into being. I recently discovered my Dad's old briefcase containing minutes from meetings, letters to various levels of government and newspaper clippings from this time. These papers have been donated and accepted by the City of Ottawa Archives and are known as the 'Michael Budd Papers'.
