I Just sat down at my computer to check the condolences for Allen when I noticed that, once again, we are going through the same experiences. I think of all the times when we consoled each other while our dear husbands lay in their hospital beds, and now here we are experiencing their deaths so close to together. We were so very sad to hear of Mervin's passing. He was one of the first neighbours we met when we bought a property on Bob's lake in 1989.
We will miss him dearly in our community.

Play Cards and Have Fun!

Sadness comes when a tradition fades away. Merv loved to play euchre at the Bolingbrook Hall and he and Norma organised the weekly tournaments for many years.He was the tradition. His presence will be missed.</p>
<p>
There, he often spoke of his hobbies with old cars and mechanical gadgets he would create in his workshop. I'm proud to have known Merv and his wife Norma. Rest in peace, Merv!</p>
