Buffam, Julia A. R.N. Julia passed away in the Perth hospital on Sunday March 4th, 2017 in her 90th year. She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Ron McDonnell and her siblings Lillian Clavelle, Sigrid Hakala, Sulo Hakala and Elvi Balson. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Mary Catherine "Cathy” Buffam, Basil (Karen Tsuk) Buffam, grandchildren Noah and Benjamin Buffam and many special friends. Julia enjoyed the theatre, travel, dancing and her involvement in St. Paul’s United Church. She dedicated over 30 years to the nursing profession which included the Perth hospital and private duty care. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home 15 Gore St. W., Perth from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Thursday March 8th, 2018. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the hall of St. Paul’s United Church. The interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Those wishing to honour her life with a memorial donation would be asked to consider the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation.
