Barrett, Nancy Diane (nee Duggan). With her family by her side Nancy passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018 at the age of 65. Survived by her beloved husband Frederick, daughters Taunia (Denny) & Melanie (Kevin), brother Jim Day, and sisters Lyn Duggan (Robert) & Donna Duggan, as well as many extended family members and friends. Proud Grandmother to Brodie, Ryley, Brennan & Molly. She was predeceased by her very special sister-in-law Margaret Day, her parents Vera & John Day and sisters, Joanne & Wendy Duggan. Special thanks Dr. Atmuri and the nursing staff at Smith Falls District Hospital for their care and compassion. Nancy loved her little place in the country with her husband enjoying all the flora and fauna that country life has to offer. You could usually find her in the kitchen cooking up a loaf of bread, a batch of cookies, or homemade pickles or jams. She was a long- time member of the Maberly Agricultural Society and was always happy to volunteer her time or to help organize a fundraising event that helped support her community. She was also a member of the Ottawa Valley Landrover club and enjoyed participating in various events throughout the year and was especially proud of helping Fred to rebuild their 1954 Landrover. A memorial for Nancy will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 from 1-3pm at Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W, Perth. In memory of Nancy, donations to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation (Perth) or the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) would be appreciated
