Cowen, Grant L. Passed away at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the age of 72. Grant is predeceased by his wife Anna (nee Gilligan). He is survived by his son Joseph Cowen, his daughter Leeann (Curtis) Macpherson, grandsons Jake, Connor and Ryan Macpherson, his beloved cat Lizzie, and his best friend Willy. He will be sadly missed by his sister Judy (Bill Plaxton) and his brother Clayton (Stephanie). He is also survived by his sister-in-law Isabel Craig and brother-in-law Arthur (Margaret) Gilligan as well as his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Grant is also predeceased by his parents Henry and Jean (nee Clayton) Cowen, his siblings Hughine, Bernice (William Storey), William, Elizabeth (Tom McGonigle), Donald (Sandra), Vincent (Marion) and Diane (William Maw). Cremation has taken place and there will be a private graveside service held for the immediate family at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines. If desired memorial donations may be made to Furry Tales Cat Rescue, The Table Community Food Centre, or a local charity of your choice.
