Eileen was a gracious and amazing woman.
She served many years as the secretary at St. Pauls United Church. I used to visit her at Van Horne Manor in Smiths Falls and we had mainly candid and good conversations as she was always wanting updates on the church and Kiwanis. I'll miss visiting her and God Bless her and her family.

Sincere condolences to Eileen's family.
Eileen was a wonderful volunteer at the GWM Hospital, we had many pleasant conversations while she was on duty. I never could get over how they transitioned so happily from the farm to an apartment. A lovely couple who made huge contributions to their community. They will be missed and fondly remembered.

Cathy and Nancy: We were sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Your Mom and Dad were a special part of my parent’s life (Mona and Ron Dean) They were such great friends for so many years. Even after my folks had passed on, I needed and wanted to keep that connection with the Thompsons and so your Mom and I continued to keep in touch at Christmas time. I will certainly miss her Christmas phone call in response to my annual family letter. It is comforting to think that they are all now back together with so many of their St Paul’s friends. Our thoughts and blessings to you and your families. Norma and Dave Wills

May all of your special memories help to console you as you celebrate your dear Mother. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the service.

Eileen was such a lovely person. I first met
her and Boyd when I would attend after church breakfast at Perth Tearoom, then got to know Eileen and Boyd even better through Kiwanis.
Eventually I would do housecleaning for them both.
The monthly visits with Eileen were always a highpoint. She was so proud of her family and was
such a kind and gracious Lady.
