Simpson, Gordon Suddenly, in hospital, Smiths Falls surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, October 19, 2009 Gordon Simpson in his 77th year. Beloved husband for over 50 years of the late Fay (Salter) Simpson. Loved father of Glenda (Earl) Bak of Smiths Falls, Karen Barber (Grant Clark) of Smiths Falls, Brian (Julie) Simpson of Carleton Place and the late Pauline Simpson Benda. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jason and Allison Bak, Natasha Barber and Adam and Ashli Simpson. Dear brother of Lloyd (Claire) Simpson of Ottawa, Marion (Harold) Plunkett of Ottawa and Fern Simpson of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by brother Noel Simpson and sisters Reta Sample and Phyllis McGrath. Special Friend of Fran (Eagle) Harper. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Friday, October 23rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery.
