Echlin, Glenn Robert It is with great sadness Glenn's family announce his unexpected and peaceful passing in the Perth Hospital on Sunday November 8th, 2009 at the age of 62 years. He was the husband and best friend of Marge (Wainman) Echlin, loving and adoring father of Chris Vandusen (LaDawn), Angela Bittle (Heath), Troy (Tracy) and stepson Colin Wainman. Cherished Pap (grandfather) of Ryan, Darrian, Alex, Aurey, Marley and Kassi. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Joyce (North) Echlin and his brother Lionel Echlin. Greatly missed and deeply loved by his brothers and sisters Lindsay (Betty), Rita, Brian (Linda), Marilyn Bennett, Stephen (Laurie), Glenda (Brett) and Brant. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Heather Dunne, Beth Wainman and brother-in-law Doug Wainman and a large community of friends and family. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Lanark. In remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Glenn's family express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Perth Hospital for their care and compassion and a special thank you to Glenn's dear friend Barb Stewart, for being there until the end. Glenn, your end came so fast and shocking; our family chain was broken and nothing is the same but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
