Laidlaw, Wendy Teresa (Milotte) Wendy passed away surrounded by the love of her family after a brief and tenacious battle with cancer on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 at the age of 58 years. She was the loved wife and best friend of Steven Laidlaw for 40 years. Loving mother of Janie and Mitch Gaulin, Stephanie and Chris Drummond, Sarah and Steve Buchanan and Lucas Laidlaw. Wendy was the adoring grandmother of Bailey, Jayden, Rena, Ellen and Valerie and cherished daughter of Margaret (Echlin) and the late Ted Milotte. She will be forever missed by her siblings Mary and Overton Bowes, Paul and Noella Milotte, Fay (late Art) Paul, Connie and John Roberts, Bonnie Milotte, Tony and Leanne Milotte, Terry and Ann Milotte, Sandra Milotte and Bob and Helen Milotte. Wendy was a loved sister-in-law of Donna and Eric Vandusen, David Laidlaw (Shirley), Jim Laidlaw (Ally), Greg and Chantel Laidlaw, and the late Gary "Toby” Laidlaw. She will be sadly missed by her mother-in-law Florence Doran and numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbours. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday in Sacred Heart Church, Lanark at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery. A reception "Celebration of Life” will follow at St. Andrews United Church Hall, Lanark. In lieu of flowers, donations to Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) or Canadian Cancer Wheels of Hope would be appreciated by the family.
