Doug's death came as a shock to all of his friends at The Link. We will miss his renditions of Puff, the Magic Dragon and all of the other tunes he so enjoyed. We will miss his kindness and compassion for others. And we will miss his wonderful smile and his one liners. He always made us laugh. Our sincere condolences to Mary.
I spoke to my brother Bryan today and l want to say how sad he is. He doesn’t have access to internet. They were so close and I know the tears flow often. He wanted to go fishing when he came to Medicine Hat

I will have plenty of fond memorys of doug.I will miss his music as well as his making me laugh.I looked forward to onstage night at the link to hearing him perform with his guitar,it wouldn't be onstage night without doug doing puff the magic dragon or greensleeves for us.Or have him giving the bingo caller a hard time and having everybody laughing.Or him fishing when we went on our fishing outing.We will greatly miss him.
