I have known Michael for almost 60 yrs. He was a great companion and avery loyal friend. We had many adventures and escapades in Dublin before he went to Canada. I only got to visit him once in Toronto. But he was a good correspondent and we kept in touch by email. I will never forget our epic visi to his grandparents in kerry in the early 60's. I have dined out on that episiode many times as i am sure he did as well.I used to look forward to his visits to Dublin over the years. The last time he was home we were in " The Halfway House" pub when a murder ocurred outside and my car became part of the crime scene.Michael was highly anused when I convinced the detectives that I had important government papers in my car and got it released.
I have lost a great friend, but he will remain in my thoughts and prayers always.

Hi Bridget, thank you for ur sad news re Michael. I recall many happy days playing football c good counsel c Mick, and attending Dublin v Kerry games, at which we were on opposite sides.
