With deep condolences to the family of Madeleine McDonnell (nee' Kirkham) Madeleine was our respected and beloved "school bus driver" in the area from the Parks home farm to Sharbot Lake!!! And yes, I can clearly remember sitting outside of a summer evening and hearing the music drift across the fields from the `McDonnell`farm To all remaining members of that family - we grieve with you!!!

My deepest condolences on the passing of Madeline.She was so much to me besides a neighbour and school bus driver. She took me under her wing treating me to cadet parades, ice cream and so much more. When bit by their dog she was my nurse. How we loved hearing their music across the fields in the evening. Now she rests in peace.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy, to Madeleine's extended family, relatives, friends and Maberly neighbors, on behalf of myself, Cliff and my dear Mother, Bessie Parks. Madeleine will be missed, for her love, kindness, gentle character, many personal talents and her piano playing. My Mom, Bessie, sends her condolences, as she will miss a great life long friend she had in Madeleine. R.I.P.

Condolences to the family and friends of Madeleine. I was also one of tbe neighbouring persons to benefit from the bus service to Sharbot Lake high by Madeleine and Herrick. They were like surrogate parents and Madeleine was frequently my 4-H Homemaking Club Leader and was my driver to many of the meetings. Madeleine always had tea and cookies at the ready and if you were there in the evening there was always a snack before going home. Whenever I pass their home so many memories flood over me. Like my sisters i well remember the sound of music over the hills and in the home. May her soul rest in peace and may the many cherished memories live on in our heats and minds. We are so blessed to have had Madeleine and Herrick in our lives.

R.I.P. Madeleine. You have now joined your beloved Herrick, together once again. She was like a second mother to us kids riding on the big yellow bus to Sharbot Lake High School. Earlier years you could always find her walking through the grounds at the Maberly Fair and would stop and chat a while. She always seemed please to see her former school bus kids. Extended family, friends and neighbours will miss her kindness with all those who knew her. A grand lady will be missed.
