Irene Isabel McCurdy December 12, 1919 ~May 11, 2010 It is with saddened hearts that the family of Irene Isabel McCurdy (née Gray) announces her peaceful passing, with family by her side, on Tuesday May 11th, 2010 at the Perth and District Hospital, Perth Site, in her 91st year. Irene was the wife of the late James White and the late William McCurdy. Irene was the loving mother of Donald "Joe" White (Marie) of Balderson, Faye Couch (late George) of Perth, Anne Durant (Wes) of Brockville, Elaine Healey (Nicholas) of Toledo, Peter McCurdy (Josephine) of Toledo, the late Gail Sayeau (Ralph) of Spencerville and the late Kenneth White (late Lynn) of Carp. She was the loving grandmother of her 16 grandchildren and her 23 great grandchildren. Irene was the sister of Harold Gray (late Kathleen) of Mountain Grove, Boyce Gray (Lorna) of Perth, predeceased by her brothers Omar Gray and Wilfred Gray. Irene will be sadly missed all her extended family and friends. Visitation for Irene McCurdy will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2010 from 2 to 4 and again from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth, Ontario, (613) 267-3765. Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 13th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth. Interment in the Elmwood Cemetery will follow the service.
