Smiley, Ruth M. Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Monday, September 20th, 2010, Ruth M. (Donaldson) Smiley at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Smiley, her parents Charles and Mary Alice (Telford) Donaldson and in childhood her sisters Muriel and Eva. Dearly loved mother of Mary Smiley and Donald (Helen) Smiley; cherished grandmother of Jake, Emily and Alastair. Dear sister of Grace Grainger (late Ed) and Keitha Kidd-Scott (Jack). Ruth will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, all her family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Paul’s United Church, Perth on Thursday at 11 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to St. Paul’s United Church or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, Perth would be appreciated.
