Tamara, Tom and family.
Pierre, Brandon and myself would like to wish you only peace at this difficult time. Your Dad was such a young man and by the look of him in the photograph he must have been very vibrant. Being so young, God must have a greater purpose in mind for him. Please try to feel comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering and is in a truly beautiful place. Please know that you, Tamara, and your family are in our hearts and thoughts.
Your friends,
Barb, Pierre and Brandon Desmarais

Pat & family - My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Having got to know Tommie through Bruce Hough, I feel I gained a valuable friendship with a wise and kind man. I will never forget Tommie saying a prayer in your kitchen for my grandson. God Bless you Tommie - the prayers are working. You will be missed.

Our hearts go out to your whole family as you walk this journey of grief. Tommy was one-of-a-kind, and there were none more important to him, on the face of this earth, than you, his family. I am thankful for the memories I have of Tom...we shared a lot of laughs, a few tears, and the odd tiff over the years, but I always knew that if I ever needed ANYTHING, I could pick up the phone and he would be there....that's just the kind of man that he was. It's hard to comprehend that a world without Thomas B. Saunders could possibly exist....
I pray that your wonderful memories will bring you healing, comfort and strength as you face the days ahead. We wish there was more that we could do or say to ease your grief and pain. <3

Dear Tamara,Tom and family,
My heart goes out to you and I wish I could be with you at this time of deep sorrow. It was a real honor to meet your Dad at the Chapel Ridge anniversary this year, his testimony was beautiful and I could see he was a man Of God who loved the Lord. I know how hard it will be for you in the following days, but remember and cherish all the good times you had with your Dad and his love for you. We know he is with his Lord,” absent from the body present with the Lord.” One day..we will all be together in heaven praising the Lord, no more pain just pure joy and peace. Nadia Politakis

The service is probably near the end in Smiths Falls and oh, how I wish I could be there in person to express my condolences. Pat, I am so very happy that I had the opportunity to see you in South Carolina so recently. Thank you for that beautiful gift. I posted a verse on my FB page that came to mind when I heard the news that Tommy was gone -- "They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world. People who live this way make it plain that they are looking for their true home. If they were homesick for the old country, they could have gone back any time they wanted. But they were after a far better country than that - heaven country. You can see why God is so proud of them, and has a City waiting for them." (Heb 11:13-16) Tommy never went back to the "old country". He eagerly awaited his true home and lived his life in a way that showed this was the destination he sought. So glad that I knew him during such pivotal years in my life. His changed life helped change mine. I look forward to seeing him in GLORY. Much love to you all -- hugs and kisses from afar.

Celebrating a great life!!
My Thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this hard time. Tom was a great person who I admired very much and respected! He always stood tall for what he believed in! I have had alot of great conversations with home over the past few years. He was always there for me when I needed a favour or just someone to talk to. I would love just going down to the shop and just talking to him. You always seen just how much he loved his family and life in general! You will be greatly missed Tom, although I know you are now resting in peace and flying with the angels!
