Lynne(Rodger) Taylor posted a condolence
Dear Aunt Alta,Sandra, Randy and families:
I really wanted to be with you at this time, but flights just didn't cooperate for me. I have such wonderful memmories visiting with all of you whether the visits were in Ontario or out here in B.C. Lots and lots of laughter, great bear hugs, and goofy faces made by Uncle Clive. He could take any word and rhyme it with another word and then find something funny to add to it. I think that Uncle Clive and I were the only family members that could really wiggle our ears. We had great fun with that one!!
There is absolutely no one that knows more about antique engines that he did. All the work and hours that he put into an engine was pure love to see something from the past work as it should. David and Uncle Clive were great friends and would laugh uproariously at some man joke that neither Aunt Alta or I would ever understand. Now, they are both together in heaven keeping other loved ones on their toes.
So, I will close with my last hearing of "gud day" (accent require) that Uncle Clive said to everyone he met. Until we meet again, love and hugs forever, Lynne

Aunt Alta
I have such fond memories of visiting Kingston and the Hunt Camp, but none so good as this summer seeing you both here in Ottawa, at your place and Middleville. I'm so happy to have seen him Wednesday night. It somehow makes this a little easier knowing we got to chat. I'll miss him so much and was looking forward to learning how to make a wooden bowl. All my love, Sonya

Fun loving Uncle Clive
It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Uncle Clive and my heart goes out to you Aunt Alta, Sandra and Randy. He has a special spot reserved in my heart. We shared many fun times together whether it be in Kingston, Lanark or Hood. I can't imagine the reunion in heaven right now with Gramma & Grandpa Rodger, Dad (Glenn) and Uncle Ralph. Thanks for the great times we shared together Uncle Clive . Love Brenda
