Pat & I express our deepest sympathy to the family. As Bob's first Cpl at Guelph O.P.P. I well remember him as a young policeman who was so polite it took a month to make him stop calling me sir. He turned out to be one of the best. He was a friend to all, intelligent, smart looking, well regarded by his peers and the public alike.
He has left us far too soon. Rest well Bob, you are not forgotten.

We have a local funeral to attend, however our thoughts are with all of Bob's family. No mere words can convey our sympathy for you at this time. Sorrow is the memory of a happy yesterday. While these memories will live on and on, the sorrow WILL fade away. We never saw very much of Bob but do remember a handsome, very bright young man. We trust that he's now found the peace he searching. Diane, we see your smile in his. Love & Blessings; Norm & Judy Chaplin, Innerkip, ON

My deepest sympathies to the Family. As an Auxiliary member of the OPP I had the priviledge of riding with Bob, and his encouragement and knowledge that he imparted during these patrols has remained with me throught my life.
