Babysitting The Imersons were our neighbours on Elmsley Street for many years. I used to enjoy babysitting Lisa since we were only 7 years apart and she was such a sweetie. One Saturday night, after she and Tara were tucked into bed, I sat down in the living room and a scary movie came on - The Birds, by Alfred Hitchcock. A few minutes later, Lisa came tiptoeing down for a little more chat time. Well, I'm glad her parents were late, because I would have been too scared to watch the movie all by myself. Lisa, on the other hand, always a brave, curious and fun-loving child, would tell me what was happening while I covered my eyes. I saw Lisa recently and her smile was just as infectious as I had remembered.
