Drear friends, I had a the privilege of spending a couple of Otty lake summers with the Tweedie kids & Barb & Aunt Ethel as a babysitter. Barb was a wonderful friend & mother & she had influence on my choosing to go to KGH to become a nurse. " A nurse from KGH is really great"....and Barb was. She really was so kind & friendly. Thankyou all for the lovely times I spent with you all. To Jim & kids, remember the fun memories thanks for sharing some of your lives with me.Thinking of you all.

Dear Dr. Tweedie, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your wife, Barbara. I remember when my mother passed away; how you came to her apt.(Feb. 1994); your sense of loss too; My brother and I appreciated your help. Mom always enjoyed dressing up when visiting you; her humour with you. I know she sends her condolences as well. My brother passed away also in 1994; both mom and John went the week following their birthdays. I live in Kingston now. May you be guided in His ways to comfort those left behind, for you, for none of you. are alone. Heartfelt sympathy, David Hunt

It was my pleasure to have met Barbara about 40 years ago.Meeting her periodically at the grocery store was always a pleasant experience. She was a very caring, and lovable woman.
I am glad that Barbara had a devoted and loving husband, and am also sure that you are very grateful to have been blessed with a loving wife and mother.May these memories, and the knowledge that she is in eternal peace be of comfort to you.
Sincerely,
Debbie Wilson(nee Johnstone) of Lanark Lodge
