Catchpole, Garnet Peacefully at his residence, surrounded by family on Saturday, April 30, 2011 Garnet Catchpole in his 69th year. Cherished and respected father of Charlene and Charles (Germaine) Catchpole, both of Toronto. Loving partner of Marion Kay and fondly remembered by Marion’s family; Jason Kay of Smiths Falls, Tanya (Tye) Haynes of Kingston and Cole and Carter Haynes. Garnet will be sadly missed by his former wife Rose (Jim) Hermer of Smiths Falls. Garnet will always be remembered by his numerous golfing, fishing, and hunting buddies. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
