Pittman, Hilda Marrion (Beckstead) Passed away peacefully at Rosebridge Manor, Hilda Marrion (Beckstead) Pittman at the age of 79 years. Hilda was predeceased by her husband James Pittman, her parents Roy and Rettia (Fawcett) Beckstead and her mother-in-law and father-in-law Thomas and Nora (Billings) Pittman. She was the loving mother to Roy, Sheila (the late Leroy) Burrows, Gordon (Matilda), the late Sharon (Albert) Warden, Shirley (Orlin) Pelton, David (Darlene Packulak), Wayne (Connie), Donald (Fern Leach), Rita (Ernie) Fowlie, Bonnie (the late Robert) McRae, and Abigail Warden (Kevin Eager). She was the cherished grandmother to 35 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Hilda was the sister of the late Fannie (late Howard) Levere, the late Albert (Pauline) Beckstead, the late Ruth (the late George) Armstrong, Ida (the late Glenn) Kenney, the late Greta (Joe) Strait and the late Lola (Bud) Snow. She was predeceased by her brothers-in-law Ernie (the late Evelyn), Percy and Roy Pittman. Hilda will be sadly missed by her extended family and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Brinston Cemetery.
