(Longtime resident and proud part of the Lombardy farming community, an active member of the First Baptist Church, Smiths Falls and longtime member of the Lombardy Women's Institute) Passed away peacefully in hospital Smiths Falls on Sunday, May 15, 2011 Doris Elizabeth (Niblock) Bell. Beloved wife of the late Sterling C. Bell. Loved mother of Graham (Diane), of Lombardy, Joy (Myles) Joynt of Lombardy, David (Charlotte) of R. R. # 4 Smiths Falls, Helen Finlay of High River, Alberta and Philip (Heather) of Drayton Valley, Alberta. Sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Clarence (Norma) Niblock, Erla Whetham of Edmonton and Phyllis (the late Norm) Philippe of Ottawa. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Leta (Blanchard) Niblock, infant sister Helen Niblock and sisters-in-law Ethel Anderson and Kathleen Hewitt. Smiths Falls on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Smiths Falls on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Maple Vale Cemetery.
