Uncle John, Bruce, Margo, Cindy and Doug
I am so very saddened to learn of the passing of my favourite aunt. Aunt Dianne and Uncle John were my "summer parents" when I would come down to Sunny Point for the summer, while Mom (Elizabeth) and Dad would be going to school or working in Milton.
Aunt Dianne and her sister (my mother Elizabeth) were not only sisters, but best friends, and I know when Liz passed away in 2015; it left a huge vacancy for Dianne.
Between 103 Brockville Street and R5 Lombardy, the Emms family has so many fond memories of Dianne and John.
How many countless times did we enjoy a cold drink on the porch at 103 Brockville Street, and if friends didn't stop when they were driving by, they always honked their horns.
I will miss Aunt Dianne; with the only consolation being that she is once again reunited with her sister Elizabeth (my mother).

Dear John, Bruce, Margo and families:
Please accept my sincere condolences at this difficult time. As a young Nurse just out of college, Diane was one of the first Nurses I met when I got my first job. She took me under her wing and taught me so much. We worked hard, but still had time to tell the odd joke, laugh and share a story or two. She was a wonderful Nurse and a great lady. She will be truly missed.

Dear John, Bruce, Margo and families- We were saddened to hear of Dianne’s passing. As a Registered Nurse she was great, I have so many wonderful memories of her mentorship and coaching while I was a student and later when I worked in the adjacent ICU. She was a patient advocate in every way - kind, caring and dedicated. I know you will miss her terribly in the weeks and months to come, but know that she contributed greatly to the health of many in our community. May your many wonderful memories sustain you. Rest In Peace Dianne❤️

My sincere condolences to John, Bruce & Cindy; Margo & Doug and the extended families. Dianne was a wonderful lady and true inspiration to all who met her. She was such a kind and compassionate nurse and patient advocate. A true credit to the nursing profession.
Like my parents....Dianne and John spent many hours on the front porch having their morning coffee or early evening beverage, and watching the traffic go by. Everyone honked or waved or stopped in for a visit. Like many others, I’ll continue my tradition of honking when I go by 103.
A favourite childhood memory was going for lunch when Dianne was off work. We’d hurry home from school and she would have fresh homemade French fries just waiting for us. What a treat.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Karen
