McDonald, Kaethe "Kate" In hospital in Ottawa on Thursday September 4th, 2008 at the age of 59 years. Cherished wife of Ed McDonald of RR#3, Perth, Kate will be sadly missed by her mother Helen King, sisters Theresa (Jack Fortuna) Gartner and Erika (Bob) Fernandes and brother Ben (Sarah) Gartner of Toronto, step-children Ed McDonald of Kitchener and Amanda McDonald and her daughter Kaeleigh Wolfe of Toronto, her grandmother and family in Germany and the United States and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Sunday September 7th from 2 to 4 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Perth Monday at 1:30 P.M. Interment, St. Johns Cemetery followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
