Carole and I were saddened to learn of Wayne's passing. It does not seem all that long ago that we attended the pre-retirement seminar together. Maidi, Chris and Carrie, we were stunned to hear of Wayne's passing. I saw him just before Christmas and we had a wonderful visit in the middle of Shopper's! He told me how great it was having both Carrie and Chris (and their families) so close to home again. He loved that the grandchildren were close by and he was so proud of all of you. He was a very special person, friend and neighbour. We will miss him. Maidi, our thoughts, prayers and love are with you.

I'm so truly sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and father. He was a wonderful man whom I was privileged to have known. He made me feel so welcomed everytime I visited your home with Carrie. Dear Maidi , Chris and Carrie. Ever since we got news of Waynes passing, our memories have been exploding. We've laughed and even cried thinking about all our shenanigans when we lived ' a house and half ' away from each other.
